Trappers defeat Southwest Oregon
The 11th-ranked Northwest College Trapper wrestling team got a taste of Northwest region competition last weekend, winning one of three duals in Couer d’Alene, Idaho. The duals wrap up the Trappers’ 2012 portion of the wrestling season.

NWC wrestling remains unbeaten
The Northwest College wrestling team used its superiority at the lighter weights to capture a 28-19 dual victory over Western Wyoming and remain unbeaten this season. The Trappers won five of the nine matches wrestled on Tuesday night and also picked up a forfeit win at 184 pounds.

Northwest Trappers sweep duals
The Northwest College Trappers extended their undefeated record in duals this season with wins over Arizona’s Embry Riddle, 31-12, and Canada’s Simon Fraser, 20-19. The Trappers also placed seven wrestlers in the top six of the University of Great Falls open tournament on Saturday.

Trappers sweep duals
A fast start and a clutch finish keyed a pair of road dual victories for the Northwest College Trapper wrestling program last week. The Trappers, ranked 11th in the nation, improved to 3-0 in duals this season with the wins.

NWC places five at Trapper Open
The No. 11 Northwest College wrestling team had five wrestlers place among the top four on Saturday at the Trappers’ home invitational tournament. Cody Vichi (125), Jeff McCormick (149) and Colton Thornton (157) each placed third overall in the event.
