Trapper volleyball returns to top 20
Northwest College Trappers, 14-4 on the season, are ranked 16th overall in this week's NJCAA volleyball poll. The team is now the second-highest Region IX team in the top 20.

Trappers spikers win five
The Northwest College Trappers captured five wins in six games over the weekend at the Wyo-braska tournament in Scottsbluff, Neb. Included in that mark was a five-game win over 12th-ranked Northeastern Junior College.

Errors costly for Trappers
Northwest College head coach Flavia Siqueira had plenty of questions but not many answers following the 20th-ranked Trappers' 27-25, 20-25, 25- 17, 25-22 loss at the hands of Casper last Thursday. The contest was a rematch of last year's Region IX North championship game.

Trappers take two
The Northwest College Trappers juggled their lineup at times on Monday night, but it rarely seemed to matter as the team sped past Dawson Community College for a 25-19, 25-13, 25-3 victory. Combined with a weekend win over Eastern Wyoming and a loss to No. 20 Laramie County, NWC carries an 8-2 mark into tonight's (Thursday's) showdown with Casper.

Trappers break into top 20
As if the team needed any more inspiration for tonight's (Thursday's) game against fellow Region IX foe Casper, the Northwest College Trapper volleyball program will carry the distinction of being a ranked team for the first time this season into that contest as well.
