Equine Studies

The equine industry currently generates over five billion dollars a year in revenues. It is the fifth leading industry in the U.S. The equine business management option gives students a background in equine management with an emphasis on business management and professional skills. Students will have a working knowledge of the horse, the equine business, and management skills as applied to various aspects of the industry. The Equine Business Management option is designed for those who like to be involved in the sale and merchandising aspects of the equine industry. Students need not have a horse for this option.
