Trappers split games
The Northwest College Trapper volleyball team remained anchored at .500 for the season following a split of four tournament games in Idaho last weekend. The Trappers won a non-conference game against Sheridan, as well as a game against the University of Great Falls JV team.

Jakovljevic earns national honor
Northwest College freshman Ana Jakovljevic was named the Division I volleyball national player of the week by the National Junior College Athletic Association on Wednesday. Jakovljevic earned the honor after a pair of outstanding games against Central Wyoming and at No. 10 Western Wyoming.

Trappers cruise past No. 15 Casper
For the longest time, it didn’t look like Tuesday night was Nicolette Bloomer’s night. Through three games, the Bakersfield, Calif., freshman carried a negative hitting percentage against No. 16 Casper College, meaning she’d amassed more errors than successful hits.

NWC spikers upend Western Wyoming
After some early-season struggles, the Northwest College volleyball team may have showcased its true full potential on Friday night as they traveled to Rock Springs to knock off No. 10 Western Wyoming 25-13, 18-25, 26-24, 28-26 in volleyball action.

NWC volleyball team sweeps tourney
After an opening week of frustration, the Northwest College volleyball team turned things around in impressive fashion over the weekend. The team won all four of its games at the Colby (Kan.) tournament to finish at the head of the class.
