POWELL, Wyo. - With the old saying "April showers bring May flowers" in mind, the Center for Training and Development (CTD) at Northwest College is hoping April classes bring better business practices.

The CTD in Powell is rolling out a variety of noncredit classes that meet only once or twice in April to help business owners and employees alike learn or improve on business skills and practices.

The lineup begins with Building a Basic Web Site from 8 a.m.-noon Tuesday and Thursday, April 13 and 15. Rick and Judith LaPlante will help participants learn how to use a variety of design tools to create their own multi-page Web site with site navigation. Cost is $45.

The Executive Book Club holds its April meeting from 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, April 15, to discuss "Value Migration: How to Think Several Moves Ahead of the Competition" by Adrian J. Slywotsky. Copies of the book are available for purchase in the NWC Bookstore. There's no charge to attend the discussion.
