POWELL, Wyo. - Trumpet and trombone players across the region are invited to add their sound to the Northwest College 2011 Trumpet and Trombone Festival.
Players are encouraged to e-mail Neil Hansen, director of bands at NWC in Powell, or call him as soon as possible toll-free (800) 560-4692 to receive music in time to prepare for the Saturday, Feb. 5, event. Participation is free.
"All players middle school age and older who want to improve their technique or who just want to blow their horns are welcome," Hansen said. The day-long event features master classes, clinics, demonstrations, instrument displays and more. It culminates in a public concert in the evening.
