POWELL, Wyo. - The public is invited to an evening of culture and fun at Korean Night Tuesday, March 18, from 7-9 p.m. in the DeWitt Student Center on the NWC Campus.
Envision decorative paintings on paper, silks and buildings; handcrafted objects of metal, wood, fabric, pottery and glass; calligraphy; colorful gardens and lanterns. Then settle back as students introduce their Korean culture through images, traditional dress, cuisine, music and dance.
The audience will have an opportunity to participate in a few special activities planned by the students. There will be time for questions and answers.
The free program is sponsored by NWC’s Multicultural Club, Intercultural Programs, Diversity Awareness Committee and Student Senate.
