POWELL, Wyo. - Northwest College’s International Club and Diversity Awareness Committee invite the community to join them Thursday, Feb. 16, from 7-9 p.m. for another evening of culture and fun at Korean Night in the DeWitt Student Center on the NWC Campus.
Envision decorative paintings on paper, silks and buildings; handcrafted objects of metal, wood, fabric, pottery and glass; calligraphy; colorful gardens and lanterns. Then settle back as students introduce their Korean culture through images, traditional dress, cuisine, music and dance.
The evening concludes with a special musical performance featuring Korea’s traditional instrument, the kayagum, a zither-like string instrument. There will be time for questions and answers.
