P O W E L L, W y o. - Area individuals who are thinking about launching a small business can get help with the basics of business start-up during a two-hour seminar Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Northwest College Center for Training and Development in Powell.
The 6-8 p.m. presentation, titled "Start Your Own Business," looks at business planning, advertising and marketing, research and resources, and where to go for funding.
It is sponsored by the NWC Center for Training and Development and the Wyoming Small Business Development Center, which is a partnership program funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Wyoming Business Council, and the University of Wyoming.
