POWELL, Wyoming — Wyoming and Montana investors, entrepreneurs and business development professionals will have a rare opportunity to look inside the world of seed investing during a one-day event Thursday, June 11, at the Northwest College Center for Training and Development in Powell.
Jim Troxel, Co-Managing Director of Development Capital Networks LLC and former training director for the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds, will lead a specialized training titled “Seed Investing for Entrepreneurs and Investors.”
Troxel and a team of legal and investment professionals will cover the complete process of seed investing, from due diligence and valuing an enterprise to pricing and negotiating a deal, to term sheet expectations, closing, mentoring and cashing out.
Participants in the step-by-step program will walk away with seed-investment know how, networking opportunities, team skills and comprehensive materials to reference in the future.
The program is delivered through interactive workshops, role-playing exercises, videotaped presentations, a live case study and onsite coaching from a team of regional seed investors and entrepreneurs.
