P O W E L L, W y o. - A four-night QuickBooks class that covers the basics plus troubleshooting tips starts Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Northwest College Center for Training and Development in Powell.
Lynne Whitmore, a certified public accountant, instructs the class, which meets from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursday, Nov. 6-15. It covers the fundamentals of the QuickBooks software program, including customer and vendor transactions, banking and creating a company file. Students get lots of hands-on training to become comfortable with the software and concepts before completing the class.
In addition, Whitmore will address the specific problems identified by participants when they sign up for the class. She wants participants to bring a year-end balance sheet, and a profit/loss statement to the first class.
