P O W E L L, W y o. - Rhonda Shipp, community development educator and county coordinator for the University of Wyoming Extension Service in Park County, will talk about "Forging Community Connections" in a two-hour workshop beginning at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, in the Cody Club Room.

Recognizing that "None of us knows as much as all of us," Shipp's program is designed to help anyone tackle community issues and/or plan successful projects, large or small, that benefit from engaging all parties who may be impacted. She'll walk participants through a systematic course of action that emphasizes the preservation of good relationships, the good will that comes from making connections, and greater trust.

"Forging Community Connections" is sponsored by the Northwest College Cody Center for Training and Development, the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension, the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce and the Cody Community Economic Development Center.

Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.
