POWELL, Wyo. - Last chance to hear Northwest College music students perform this year is coming up in a Sunday afternoon piano recital and Tuesday evening jazz band concert.
Tim Schoessler’s piano students will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.
The Tuesday, May 10, concert is a two-for-one deal when both Jazz Band I and Jazz Band II perform. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.
Neil Hansen and Craig Olson direct band I and II, respectively, through a repertoire of jazz standards that feature a variety of soloists.
Admission is free to both performances.
