POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest Music Department presents its annual Honors Recital at 4 p.m., Monday, March 5, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.
The featured students were selected from their fall semester-end jury performances. Music faculty believe performances by these nine students were truly exceptional and it is important for all NWC music students to hear this level of performance from their peers.
The public is invited to enjoy the music as well.
The program features trumpeter Monte Nickles of Powell; flutists Kyrie Standridge of Cody and Richelle Tewes of Buffalo; vocalists Michael Conner and Jess Preis of Greybull; percussionist Keller Paulson of Casper; clarinetist Jonathon Pattishall-Baker of Encampment; trombonist Jerry Stott of Green River; and violinist Josie Weight of Boulder, Mont.
Admission is free.
