POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest College Forensics Team fielded only seven students at the Al Johnson Invitation, Oct. 28-30, in Colorado Springs, Colo., but still brought home first-place honors.
Competing against top schools at this national circuit tournament, six of the seven NWC team members placed individually, racking up enough points for Northwest to earn first among two-year colleges in debate and first overall among two-year colleges.
After staying home to host the Nov. 11-12 Trapper Rendezvous, the NWC speakers will hit the road again Dec. 9-10 for the Wind River Invitational at Central Wyoming College in Riverton.
Individual results from all the team’s tournament performances can be viewed online.
