As part of a group project, members of the Northwest College Enactus Team will host an informational conference about postpartum depression, featuring a variety of guest speakers, Wednesday, April 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Beginning at 5:15 p.m., light appetizers will be available for attendees. The conference gets underway at 5:30 p.m. with opening statements from NWC President Stefani Hicswa.
The evening event features main speaker Jamaica Santos, followed by a light dinner, testimonies from two individuals and panel discussions.
Speakers will discuss signs and symptoms of postpartum depression, those who suffer from it and the importance of raising awareness.
