Area residents are invited to enjoy an evening of food, fun and hands-on demonstrations at this year’s Ag Showcase, Thursday, Oct. 11, in the Paul Stock Ag Pavilion, located at 719 Road Nine.
Hosted by the Northwest College Foundation, the event gets underway with a social hour and activities from 5-6:30 p.m. The evening includes a wide variety of entertainment such as student demonstrations, livestock judging, meat cuts identification, live music, a sugar beet throwing contest and beer tasting.
Live and silent auctions will feature items from sponsors including Briess, Woodward Tractor, Linton’s Big R and Big Horn Co-op. Participants can also enjoy Briess malted milk balls and a specialty beer tasting.
The menu features Paul Rodriguez’s Famous Pitchfork Steaks, crostini with fall harvest tapenade, grilled onion, potato and bacon skewers, spinach and strawberry salad, glazed butternut squash and corn cakes with summer salsa. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Northwest College Ag student travel fund.
