POWELL, Wyo. ─ Northwest College goes into summer mode beginning Monday, May 9, with changed hours for administrative offices and Hinckley Library.
All college offices are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. until noon on Fridays through the summer, according to Mark Kitchen, NWC’s vice president for college relations.
Kitchen said that while college offices are opened to the public four fewer hours on Friday, all employees work a regular work week by rearranging individual work schedules.
Northwest's Hinckley Library closes for maintenance and cleaning from Saturday, May 7, through Sunday, June 5. Beginning Monday, June 6, the library will observe the same abbreviated hours as the rest of the college, but will close for the summer Friday, July 22, at noon. Any Wyoming resident can check out books and other materials from Hinckley Library. A valid card from a public library in Wyoming may be used or the library can issue a card to the user.
Summer office hours are in effect at Northwest through Friday, Aug. 12. Hinckley Library will open again Thursday, Aug. 18.
