May 28 Worland Women's Roundtable looks at legal issues in the workplace

WORLAND, Wyo. - Local attorney Wendy Press Sweeny will discuss "Legal Issues in the Workplace" at the Thursday, May 28, Worland Women's Business Roundtable. The program gets underway in the Northwest College Worland Center at noon, with networking opportunities starting at 11:45 a.m.

Sweeny, a former Washakie County prosecuting attorney, will address a variety of issues, from employment handbooks, to hiring and firing practices, what constitutes a hostile work environment, and employer obligations to provide time off for voting and National Guard service.

Employers and employees are both encouraged to bring their own questions to pose for Sweeny.
