POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest Master Chorale will perform in a 7:30 p.m. concert Monday, Dec. 9, in Northwest College's Hinckley Library.
“We look forward to sharing an evening of music with the people of the Big Horn Basin,” said Anissa Bree, the group’s director. “It should be a fun evening of spirituals, gospel and traditional chamber music. We’ve invited a few members of the Cody Middle School Choir to join us on a song.”
Bree, an NWC alumnae and Cody Middle School vocal instructor, said the group will perform “Songs of the Wayfarer,” “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho,” When Storms Arise,” “Adoramus te,” “My Heart Shall Rejoice,” Heal Our Land” and “O Holy Night.” Accompaniment is provided by Karen Bree.
The chorale began rehearsals in September for this year’s concert. Bree invites anyone interested in joining the group to contact her at 307-899-2003.
Admission is free and open to the public.
