WORLAND, Wyo. - Registration is open for a three-night class that uses free software to make video productions at home. The PhotoStory 3 and Windows Movie Maker class meets from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, May 4, 5 and 7, in the Worland Community Center.

Jody Rakness, a computer teacher in the Worland schools, will show students how to use PhotoStory 3 and Windows Movie Maker software to add humor, laughter and memorable moments to class reunions, weddings, family reunions and other special occasions.

Students will produce a real project in class. They'll learn how to integrate visual media (photos, slides, and movies using digital or VHS format) into their productions, transfer photos from a digital camera into a movie, crop out unwanted elements, and insert music and narration into a movie. Lastly, they'll learn to share their movie via the Web, e-mail, or on CD.
