POWELL, Wyo. - Northwest College will be without power from 10 a.m. until noon Friday morning, Aug. 17.
The City of Powell is cutting power to the campus Friday in order to repair its electrical equipment, according to NWC Vice President for Administrative Services Kim Mills.
Some offices in the Orendorff Building will be open, but services will be limited because lights, phones and computers won’t be functional; because computers are critical to providing financial aid services, the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office will be closed during that time.
NWC is taking advantage of Friday’s scheduled outage to tie in its new emergency generator between the Moyer and Orendorff buildings in order to avoid an additional interruption of campus power in coming weeks, Mills said.
