The Northwest College men’s basketball team will conduct two clinics for elementary school hoops hopefuls in Meeteetse on Friday, Dec. 12.
Coach Brian Erickson likes to involve his squad in outreach programs in local communities and one reason Meeteetse was chosen was because of red-shirt freshman Seth Bennett’s roots there.
He was a star for the Longhorn basketball team last year.
The 90-minute clinics for boys and girls will be at the Meeteetse Schools gym. The clinic starting at 10 a.m. is for those in grades 1-5 and the 1 p.m. clinic is grades 6-8.
The clinics are free, but students must register in advance and submit waiver forms. Forms will be given out at school or can be obtained from the Meeteetse Recreation Department.
