Northwest College Trapper tailgate Dec. 10

Sheridan College in Town

Northwest College basketball action against the Sheridan College Generals makes for a full day of home court excitement. Fans are invited to share in the spirit-building by attending an early-evening tailgate event at the Saturday, Dec. 10, games.

The event will mark the final basketball contests of 2011.

The Northwest College women, currently 7-4, will face Sheridan with a 3 p.m. tip off in Cabre Gym. Joining NWC alum and head coach Janis Beal courtside is assistant women’s basketball coach Steve Coleman.

The Trapper Booster Club will host the tailgate from 4:15-5 p.m., selling nachos and a drink for $2.

Once the women’s game is finished, the 19th-ranked Northwest College men’s basketball team will take to the floor. Head coach Andy Ward promises plenty of excitement when his team squares off against the Generals in a game scheduled to tip at approximately 5 p.m.

Admission to the games is $3 for adults, $2 for children and free for senior citizens, current NWC students with an ID card and those under age 12 accompanied by an adult.
