Big win for Trapper men
The Northwest College Trapper men’s basketball team improved to 5-2 this season with an 80-67 victory over Williston State on Friday night, followed by a 70-61 victory over Northeastern on Saturday. Both victories came as part of the First Bank of Wyoming Shootout.

NWC Trapper men taste first defeats
The Northwest College men’s basketball team dropped its first decisions of the 2012-13 hoop season last weekend in North Dakota with tournament losses to North Idaho and Williston State College. Despite the results, Trapper head coach Brian Erickson was pleased with the effort showcased by his squad.

NWC men start year strong
The Northwest College Trappers got the men’s basketball season off to a strong start over the weekend, defeating the Montana Western JV team twice and the Rocky Mountain College JV team once.

Trapper men set sights on new season
The Northwest College Trappers welcome back a pair of starters and Brian Erickson, now in the role of head coach, to open the 2012- 2013 men’s basketball season. The Trappers are coming off a 22-9 season a year ago.

Medeiros, Saltsman named athletes of the year
Leonardo Medeiros and Cheyenne Saltsman were named the athletes of the year for Northwest College on Monday night at the school’s annual athletic awards ceremony. The dinner and program was held at The Commons in downtown Powell.
