The Mobile Crane Simulator teaches real-world skills for productive and safe operation on the construction site. Trainees use the controls of a standard rough terrain mobile crane equipped with a telescoping boom with deflection, a jib, and a realistic dashboard. The virtual work-site is set in a construction environment with a variety of loads and hook blocks for training.
Training is presented in eight learining modules of increasing difficulty:
• Controls Familiarization
• Hookblock Control 1
• Hookblock Control 2
• Pole Topping
• Corridor Following 1
• Corridor Following 2
• Executing Lifts
• Pole Placement
Simulator Lab Training Time: Approximately 20 hours
Simulator Lab Training Cost: $250.00
Upon successful completion of all 8 modules, the student will receive a certificate and may apply for a guided field operation experience using live equipment. (Additional Cost TBD)
