Northwest College Intercultural Programs cordially invites you to enjoy an evening of French cuisine and wine.
This year’s Taste the Nations event honors Professor Emerita Harriet Bloom-Wilson, who has positively impacted Intercultural Programs and the lives of countless students during her tenure at Northwest College. For 40 years – first as an employee and now as a retiree/volunteer – Harriet has served as Northwest College’s primary cultural ambassador.
Born and raised in New York, Bloom-Wilson completed her graduate studies at the University of New Mexico, where she met her husband, Dr. Richard Wilson. In January 1981, they moved to Powell, where they raised their daughters and established roots at the college and in the community. Since her retirement from NWC in 2012, Harriet has continued service to Northwest and the community as an advisor to the Intercultural Programs Office staff and a dedicated programming volunteer.
Harriet and Richard take every opportunity to spend time with their family and look forward to moving to Spokane, Washington, to be closer to their oldest daughter. Join us to wish them Bon Voyage in their next adventure in life!
