April 18 marks the last of the Stothart Readings for the 2023-24 academic year, and takes place in the Hinckley Library Amphitheater. The April event features a special reading in honor of Community Service Month.
Generally held on the third or fourth Thursday of the month, the Stothart Readings are interdisciplinary and open to anyone wishing to read academic or creative work in any discipline, poetry or prose, whether their own writing or another author's. They represent a wonderful opportunity to make connections with other writers and thinkers among the students, faculty, staff, and Powell and Cody communities. Everyone is invited and welcome to share, or just listen.
The Stothart Readings are named for Rob Stothart, a former associate professor of English at Northwest College who helped launch the NWC Writers Series.
