Rachel Stiff, a Northwest College alumna, is a mixed media painter with an addiction to physical labor and an obsession with process. Growing up in a small ranching community in Central Montana, Rachel is strongly influenced by open spaces. Her large-scale paintings reflect the beauty found in growth and decay. Rachel is currently a fine arts faculty member at Western Nevada College in Carson City.
The artist's reception and gallery talk takes place Nov. 14 from 7-8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
