On Friday, March 27th, Lara is bringing in Clarinetist, Dr. Nancy Williams. Having recently completed a Doctor of Arts in clarinet performance at the University of Northern Colorado, Nancy Williams is teaching, performing, and composing in Rapid City, SD and is an active solo artist and chamber musician, performing most recently as a guest soloist at Carpe Clarinet Day, Black Hills State University, Dickinson State University, Sheridan College, the Watertown Municipal Band, and the Rapid City Municipal Band.
On Friday afternoon (3/27), Dr. Williams will conduct a Woodwind Masterclass from 3:30pm-4:30pm in NPA 48
That evening she will join soprano, Dr. Lara Moline, for a free concert entitled "An Evening of British Song for Soprano Voice and Clarinet: From Theatre and Popular Songs of the Nineteenth-Century to Complex Modern Art Songs." The evening will also feature the NWC Woodwind Quintet under the direction of Michael Jaycox.
