The 42nd Annual Northwest College Jazz Festival is a non-competitive performance opportunity for vocal and instrumental jazz groups at all levels of proficiency. During the day, high-quality assessment and instruction will be provided by respected jazz educators in a positive and constructive learning environment which encourages young musicians and teachers to grow through camaraderie and musical exchange. LA-based Moonchild will be the headline performance for 2025. This multi-instrumentalist, Soul trio was recently nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album at the 2023 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards and have have received huge press, radio and DSP support, charted on the Billboard’s genre charts and been named Soul Act of the Year by Jazz FM.
Past performers have included The Lewis Nash Trio, Accent, Marion Powers, Andrew Janak, Jennifer Grimm, Jason Palmer, Säje, Kate Reid, Brad Leali, Groove for Thought, Vertical Voices, True North, Clay Jenkins, and more!
This year, the concert begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Building Auditorium on the Northwest College campus, guest artists TBA.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door of concert.
