Please come honor this important historic event on Tuesday, December 10. Wyoming passed the first unconditional law permanently guaranteeing women their full inherent right to vote and hold office on December 10, 1869. The 150th Anniversary will be celebrated at numerous events across the state on December 10—so come join in on the state-wide celebration by attending the festivities here in Powell at Northwest College.
The celebration will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Yellowstone Conference Center.
Plus if you attend you will get this amazing That’s WY women’s suffrage sticker! There will be cake and other snacks.
As part of the celebration, the Women in the West class students will be presenting their research on Wyoming women. The audience will vote and the student with the most votes will win $150.
