Career Assessments

Career assessments can help you clarify your interests, values, abilities, preferences, and motivations. They won't tell you exactly what you should do with your life, but they will help you get a better idea of potential majors and careers you should explore. Below are some career assessments you can take online. If you want to talk about the results, drop by the Advising Office in ORB 109 or call 307-754-6124 to set up an appointment.

My Next Move: Sponsored by the US Dept of Labor, this site allows you to research careers, wages, and job outlooks. Additionally, you can take the O*Net interest profiler to discover potential career paths based on your interests.

Work Values Matcher: Discover your work values to choose a career that's meaningful to you. The Work Values Matcher is a quick card sort exercise that asks you to rank statements to define your ideal job. Your choices indicate your top values.
