All: The Park County Health Department has shared with NWC that they are falling behind in contacting individuals who may have been exposed to COVID-19. They are requesting those who have tested positive for COVID-19 to perform their own contact tracing and notify those who they may have exposed.
To help protect our campus community, the College is assisting with this notification process. Our COVID Connection team continues to work with our students on contact tracing, and HR is working with our employees and volunteers.
For Employees and Volunteers:
Here is the updated procedure that employees and volunteers are expected to follow which is provided on the (updated) Employee health screening and our Volunteer health screening forms:
If you test positive for COVID-19 AND if you had Close Contact (see #3 Close Contact definition under Employee Health Screening above) with an employee, student, or volunteer, contact HR (Jill - 307.754.6401 or Tracy - 307.754.6107) and provide HR with the names of the employee, student, and/or volunteer with whom you had close contact. HR will follow Park County Health Department’s directive (11/11/2020) to provide these individuals with the “What to do if you are exposed to COVID-19” information from the WY Department of Health (https://health.wyo.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/What-to-do-if-you-were-exposed-to-someone-with-COVID-19-11520.pdf) and “When to start and end quarantine” information (https://health.wyo.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/When-to-start-and-end-quarantine-COVID10-11520.pdf
Please note: We are in the process of updating these forms on our website this morning. If you have downloaded these health screening forms in the past, be sure to remove the older versions and replace them with the attached updated (11/11/2020) form(s).
As always, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Stay safe,
Jill
