Hello, students,
This email is the third in our informational series about the upcoming fall semester. Today, we’ll give you an overview of dining on campus. Though you may not have a meal plan, this email contains important information about on-campus dining or “grab and go” options. So far, topics that have been covered in previous communications include residence life and academics. Keep an eye out for an email on activities and athletics next week.
Today’s Topic: Dining on Campus
Having dining options is one of the many conveniences of being on campus, and we want you to be able to safely enjoy those options this semester. With health and safety precautions in place, dining on campus will look a little different than it has in the past. Continue reading to learn about our plan and how it may affect you.
The Plan
All dining employees will be screened before working each day and will be required to wear a face covering. Hand sanitizing stations are located at each entrance and throughout the main dining area. Seating areas will be sanitized after each use and will be spaced according to guidelines.
The Hub (formerly Einstein Bagels) will also have signage, directional arrows, plexiglass dividers, and the tables spaced appropriately. But fear not—there will still be tasty food options available; this location will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, late-night meals to order, grab-and-go salads, fruit, sandwiches, and wraps. They will also offer Starbucks coffee, espresso, signature recipes, Frappuccino’s, and refreshers.
What this means for you
Though much of your dining experience will remain the same, there may be elements of it that are different than what you’ve been used to.
