Fall 2020 Reopening: COVID-19 Safety on Campus

Posted: August 26, 2020

Hello, students,

It’s hard to believe the first week of the semester is already complete! I hope your classes are going well.

So far, we’re off to a great start, and I appreciate your dedication to protecting yourself and our campus community from COVID-19. You should feel very proud of everything you’re doing to help contribute to a successful fall semester for everyone.

If you have not yet checked out the COVID-19 resources available on your MyNWC Portal, please do so. Look for the light blue COVID-19 Info box, which is pictured below, at the top of your screen.

Please note that you do not have to fill out the health screening form online. The form is used as a guide for you to determine whether you are able to come physically to campus or if you need to take the next step to connect with a health professional. It is on the honor system.

Though the semester’s already underway, I recognize you may still have some questions about life on campus this semester.

If you have questions about topics like when to wear face coverings on campus, COVID-19 resources (updates/protocols, Student Health Screening, COVID Connection), building entrances, or how to protect yourself and others, please click and watch the following video.

If you still have questions after watching this video, feel free to email COVID-19@nwc.edu or visit nwc.edu/COVID.

Have a great rest of the week, Trappers.
